Tiffany Au (junior) is a co-founder of UNVEIL and is deeply committed to examining how law, history, and power shape public understanding. She has competed in debate for four years, developing extensive experience in research, critical argumentation, and ethical analysis of information. Tiffany is currently writing a research paper on Indigenous land dispossession, examining the legal and historical frameworks that have enabled systemic exclusion. She also serves as Vice President of her school’s law club and interns at a law firm, where she has gained hands-on experience with legal research and advocacy. Beyond her research and legal interests, Tiffany is also an editor on her school’s journalism team.
Through her academic work, Tiffany has become deeply interested in how power shapes the writing of history, who controls dominant narratives, and how systems of marginalization persist over time. She is especially drawn to examining how knowledge is produced, legitimized, and circulated. Through UNVEIL, Tiffany hopes to continue investigating these questions while helping build a student-led space where youth are empowered to challenge and engage critically with information in ways that drive informed dialogue and accountability within communities.
